Terms & Conditions These Terms and Conditions are here to keep everything clear and fair for both you and Kevin The Cleaner (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or using our cleaning services, you agree to these terms. From time to time, we may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services or policies. Any updates will be posted on our website, so we recommend checking this page occasionally. By continuing to use our services, you’re agreeing to any updated terms.

1. Pricing & Quotations

All quotes provided are unseen quotes, based on average property size and a reasonable level of cleanliness.

Final pricing may vary upon inspection or if additional services are required on the day.

Additional charges may apply for:

Heavily soiled or neglected properties

Properties with pets

Additional rooms (study, toilet, second living area, granny flat, second kitchen)

Key collection/return (typically $15–$20 depending on distance)

 


 

2. Additional Services (Extra Cost)

The following services are not included in standard end-of-lease cleaning and can be added at an additional cost:

Exterior window cleaning

Deep internal window cleaning

Steam cleaning (carpet, rugs, mattress, couch, curtains)

Stain and odour removal

Wall and door spot cleaning

Floor scrubbing (including floorboards)

Cupboard deep cleaning

Blind cleaning (wet wipe)

Skirting boards (wet wipe)

Ceiling and mould cleaning

Grout cleaning

Deep cleaning work

High-pressure cleaning

Garage and balcony cleaning

Cobweb removal (external)

Fan cleaning

Electronics goods deep/inside cleaning such as oven, fridges, stovetop, microwaves, etc.

Rubbish removal / leftover items

Fumigation services

Odor Removal

 


 

3. Carpet Steam Cleaning

Our standard steam cleaning removes dirt, dust, grime, and most light stains.

Heavily soiled carpets may incur additional charges

Results may vary depending on carpet condition

Permanent stains may not be removable

We do not guarantee complete stain removal

 


 

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth service:

You must provide access to electricity and water

Property must be vacant before cleaning begins

We do not move or lift heavy items/furniture/belongings; cleaning will be done around them

⚠️ If utilities are unavailable or disconnected during the job:

Revisit fee of $50 may be charged

 


 

5. Exterior Window Cleaning

Limited to ground-floor, safely accessible windows only

Maximum safe height: approx. 3 metres

No removal of paint, adhesives, silicone, or construction residue

Weather-dependent service (may be rescheduled)

⚠️ This service is not covered under our satisfaction guarantee
Issues must be reported within 24 hours with photos.

 


 

6. Cleaner Safety (Hot Weather Policy)

On days exceeding 35°C, clients must provide air conditioning.

If cooling is unavailable and no prior arrangement is made:

The service may be cancelled

A cancellation fee may apply

 


 

7. Parking Requirements

Suitable parking must be provided

Parking costs (if any) will be added to your invoice

Parking beyond 100m may incur additional charges

Steam cleaning requires parking within 20m

If no parking is available after 20 minutes:

Booking may be cancelled

Cancellation fee will apply

 


 

8. Property Access

If access is not available at the scheduled time:

We will attempt to contact you

After 15 minutes, the job may be cancelled

A 50% cancellation fee will apply

 


 

9. Services Outside Our Area

We may provide services outside our standard area at our discretion.

A $50 out-of-area fee applies

Subject to cleaner availability

Same-day cancellations may occur due to logistics (no fee charged in such cases)

Re-cleans may not always be possible due to distance.

 


 

10. Photos & Recording

Our team may take photos for quality assurance

Photos are used strictly for service-related purposes

You may opt out by informing us in advance

If your property has cameras:

Please inform us beforehand, especially if audio recording is active

 


 

11. Service Exclusions

We do not perform the following:

Moving/Lifting heavy furniture

Ceiling cleaning (unless booked)

Rubbish removal (unless booked)

Human or animal waste cleaning

Paint or adhesive removal

Curtain removal

High-pressure cleaning (unless booked)

Outdoor areas (gardens, pools)

 


 

12. Bond Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day Bond Back Guarantee:

Covers only services listed on your invoice

Re-clean will be arranged within 3 working days

Issues must be reported with photos

⚠️ Guarantee becomes void if:

Another party cleans the property after our service

The issue is outside our agreed scope

 


 

13. Payment Terms

Payment is required before service commencement

Accepted methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, PayID

Invoice will be issued after payment

 


 

14. Unpaid Accounts

Unpaid invoices may be referred to a debt collection agency or legal service.

You will be responsible for:

Recovery costs

Legal fees

 

 


 

16. Cancellations & Rescheduling

No fee for rescheduling with 48+ hours notice

Same-day cancellations may incur charges

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any service if the property is not as described in condition or size or if unexpected circumstances occur.

We reserve the right to cancel if:

Property is unsafe

Property condition differs significantly from description

Access is not provided

 


 

17. Limitation of Service

We aim to deliver high-quality cleaning services; however:

Results depend on property condition

Some stains or damages may be permanent

Our guarantee applies only to agreed services
